Grand Challenges for Disaster Reduction Space Weather Implementation Plan
	In 2007, the Subcommittee on Disaster Reduction (SDR) asked OFCM and the Committee for Space Weather to prepare an interagency space weather implementation plan to be included as one of the hazard areas addressed in the Grand Challenges for Disaster Reduction. The Committee for Space Weather developed the plan and submitted it to SDR in early 2008 for review and clearance for publication. The space weather plan joined 14 other previously-developed plans in the hazards portfolio when the Office of Science and Technology Policy in the Executive Office of the President approved the plan in June 2010.
