Conference Site/Hotel Information

The 66th IHC will be held at the Francis Marion Hotel, Charleston, SC, March 5—8, 2012.

The cut off date for attendees to Reserve a room at the Francis Marion Hotel is February 15, 2012.

A block of rooms is reserved at the hotel for the IHC under
“Hurricane.”

The room rate is the government per diem rate of $137/night.

To book your hotel room, please follow these instructions:

• Enter check-in date, number of nights, and click "Check Availability."
• Click on "Groups" in the top menu bar; enter the code "Hurricane" in the box labelled "Attendee Code."
• Re-select the dates for your stay.
• Select "Traditional Room" under room type; it will be the only room type with an average daily rate available.
• Click "Continue This Reservation."
• Enter your contact and credit card information.
• Click the check box to indicate that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions and privacy policy, and click "Complete" to complete your reservation.

Hotel Parking

Valet parking is available at a $17/day. The charge will automatically be charged to your room bill.

Self-parking is available in the City Garage located next door to the Francis Marion Hotel. The charge is $12 per 24 hour period, and is payable to the garage attendant in cash.

Airport Shuttles

The shuttle rate for Downtown Charleston from the Charleston International Airport is $12/passenger and departs every 15 minutes. Additional information on taxis from the airport to the Francis Marion Hotel can be found here.
